Porcelain Veneers
Smile makeovers may be achieved using porcelain veneers.
Porcelain veneers are a conservative cosmetic smile enhancement. Similar to a false fingernail, a thin layer of the tooth is removed to allow a veneer of porcelain to be bonded to the tooth without making it any thicker. The result is an extremely strong, durable, long lasting solution to many cosmetic concerns. Porcelain veneers are often an excellent solution for closing unsightly spaces or gaps, lengthening short or stubby teeth, mending chipped teeth, and straightening out crooked teeth. Full Mouth Rehabilitation
For people who have more complex cosmetic issues, worn down or chipped teeth, over-closed or deep bites, numerous missing teeth, and / or signs and symptoms of TMJ or TMD, full mouth restoration of your teeth may be the answer.
Full mouth rehabilitation involves restoring the teeth, bite, and muscles back to a natural looking and youthful feeling condition. Using neuromuscular dental concepts, computerized jaw tracking, the very best dental labs and materials, and an artistic eye, we are able to not only make you look great but you should also feel great. A full smile makeover is often like having a “dental facelift”.

Simply speaking, full mouth rehabilitation begins with a series of comprehensive diagnostic exams and records taking. From the collected data, an “orthodic” (similar to a retainer) is made. The orthodic is worn continually for at least 3 months. This allows your jaw muscles and joints to settle into the comfortable position they prefer to be in. A final “bite registration” is then taken, which creates the framework for the final restorations. At this position of comfort and aesthetics, full mouth rehabilitation is then accomplished with the use of veneers, crowns, onlays, and any needed bridgework.
When all is said and done, “beauty, health, and function” have been addressed. You will have a smile makeover that is potentially life-changing. For many people this is the joy of smiling without embarrassment; for others it is being pain free.

CEREC
We are pleased to offer our patients CEREC porcelain restorations. In just a single appointment, one can have a digitally-designed, color matched, and highly durable ceramic filling, onlay, crown, or veneer.
- What is the CEREC process?
After examination and CEREC treatment course determination, your tooth will be prepared for the restoration, and coated with a safe, tasteless powder. An optical image of the tooth is taken with a state-of-the-art digital 3D camera. The digital image usually will take the place of doing a traditional impression of the tooth.
The state-of-the-art CAD software from the CEREC computer allows Dr. Forsberg to quickly and accurately design every detail of your restoration. The image of the tooth is easily manipulated to allow custom designing for your clinical needs.
Your CEREC’s design specifications are then sent to an on-site milling machine for fabrication of the restoration. In about 15 minutes, the CEREC is ready for polishing, fitting and permanent bonding. Your tooth is then back to its (REMOVE: natural) beauty, health, and function.
